08th October 2019. CPD Talk: “Better Safe Than Sorry” – the SHENA Story.

Siti Nurrahmah Binti Haji Jalbah, Umi Wafiah Binti Haji Wardi, Juliana Ang Siew Yin, Sarah Teoh Pei Yong, Chong Mei Chee, Michael Koh Yu Hin and Zion Watkins attended the Talk: “Better Safe Than Sorry” – The SHENA Story organized by PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd and supported by Ministry of Development, Brunei Darussalam and Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA).

The course was aimed at promoting awareness on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and construction regulations, as well as the importance of complying with legislation in the industry. The SHENA’s Chief Inspector, Jamie Rebelo covers Major Accident Hazards (Oil & Petrochemical), General Industry (Construction and Others) and Non-Industry (Schools and Medical Institutions), with an objective to work collaboratively with industry and other relevant stakeholders in the pursuit of making Brunei a safe place to work and live.
